We are pleased to announce the opening of our 17th LeRoy Neiman Art Studio and first ever Las Vegas project! A huge thank you to MBH Architects, W.L. Butler Construction, and Graffiti Park.

We celebrated GT’s 30th year with a performance by longtime Good Tidings’ supporter and friend, Alice Cooper! Alice was joined by former student’s from his Solid Rock Teen Center. Proceeds from the evening will go toward our newest art studio in partnership with Solid Rock opening in Goodyear, AZ in early 2025.

In February 2000, we partnered with the LeRoy Neiman and Janet Byrne Neiman Foundation to build our very first art studio at New Traditions School in San Francisco. It marked the beginning of a beautiful journey—today, we've built 20 art studios and counting. Honoring the legacy of the incredible LeRoy Neiman, whose passion for art continues to inspire creativity in young minds.

Our 30FOR30 Endowment Campaign is being affectiona

Our 30FOR30 Endowment Campaign is being affectionately called “Larry’s Last Ask”! After two previously successful campaigns, Good Tidings sits on the precipice of being a self-funded charity. In 2024, with full support of the Board of Directors & following 17 years of successful investing, Good Tidings started to use 5% of their endowment. This immediately allowed the staff to spend over 90% of their time on programming. Even with this draw, GT saw their portfolio grow throughout 2024.

Back in 1999, we built our first ever basketball c

Back in 1999, we built our first ever basketball courts at Brookdale Park in Oakland in partnership with the Golden State Warriors. Thirteen years later, we returned to refurbish the courts again for our 100th project, and the City of Oakland graciously named them the Good Tidings Courts. To date, we have partnered with the Warriors to build 100 youth basketball courts in the Bay Area with many more to come!

Happy Home Opener to our longtime partner, the San

Happy Home Opener to our longtime partner, the San Francisco Giants! We have collaborated with the Giants Community Fund to build 29 Junior Giants Fields in 30 years. The Peter A. Magowan Fields for Kids program reaches out to underserved communities where the Junior Giants program exists in order to enhance recreational opportunities and create safer places to play.

Thank you to everyone who hosted a toy drive, donated through our registry, volunteered, and helped us execute a successful toy giveaway program this year.
